How to Enter an Office Visit
How to: Enter an office visit into SchoolCare
- Select Medical Center.
- Add Event.
- Select Medical Episode.
- Search the student's name in "Find Health Record".
- Enter the date and time in designated areas.
- Enter yourself or whoever you are documentating for.
- Enter the check-out time.
- Select the visit type.
- Select the visit reasons.
- Write your detailed note.
- Enter the vital signs you have taken.
- Select your treatment.
- Select if OTC medications have been given or not.
- Select the discharge dispositions.
- If injury select the location of injury and the body part.
- Select "Save" and "Done Charting and Close".
What charting is expected of the nurses in SchoolCare
All students outside of your regular sheduled medication and procedures need to be charted as an office visit in SchoolCare.
What needs to be included:
- The correct date.
- Check in and Check out time.
- Type of visit.
- The reason for visit.
- Treatments.
- A detailed note about the visit.
- Any vital signs taken.
- Treatments.
- Dishcharge Dispositions.
