JCPS Health & Wellness Middle School Zone

Hi, I’m Blaire, your JCPS Middle School Zone APRN. I have been an APRN for 15 years, and have worked for JCPS since March 2014. Prior to that, I was a nurse practitioner for 5 years at East Louisville Pediatrics and 1 year as the inpatient nurse practitioner for Pediatric Neurology at Norton Children’s. I am originally from western Kentucky. I have a Bachelor of Nursing Arts from Georgetown College, a Bachelor in Science of Nursing from the University of Kentucky, and Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Louisville. I moved to Louisville after marrying my husband in 2004. We have 2 children that are 15 and 12 who keep us busy with basketball, golf, track, swimming, horse riding, and social lives that I envy. When I’m not cheering them on, I have a passion for baking and crafting. I’m a huge UK fan, but I will also tag along to some UofL games with my husband (but I will not wear red). Go Big Blue!
